Title: Revision of the taxonomic status of Paralimnus phragmitis var. lugens (Horváth, 1897) (Auchenorrhyncha: Cicadellidae)

Abstract: Co-cxisting specimens of Paralimnus phragmitis (BOHEMAN, 1847) and Paralimnus phragmitis var. lugens (HORVÁTH, 1897) were collected at the Lake Naplás Nature Reserve (Budapest, Hungary). Their genitalia were compared, and several differences were found. As a result of the comparison, P. lugens is regarded as a distinct species. Lectotype is designated for Deltocephalus phragmitis var. lugens HORVÁTH, 1897. With 12 figures.
