Abstract: First Hungarian record of 17 species of Cecidomyiidae, Bolitophilidae, Sciaridae, Lauxaniidae, Opomyzidae, Agromyzidae, Ephydridae and Heleomyzidae are reported with additional data for other rare Diptera. Schroederella kirilli sp. n. and S. media sp. n. (Heleomyzidae) are described from Hungary. The family Stenomicridae, with Podocera soniae (MERZ et ROHÁČEK, 2005) is new to Hungary. Two genera of Porricondylinae (Dirhiza LOEW, 1850, Holoneurus KIEFFER, 1895) are reported from Hungary for the first time. With ten figures.
