Abstract: Based on mainly records in the literature, a checklist of the Aphidoidea and Phylloxeroidea of Hungary (156 genera, 594 species and subspecies) is presented, completed by a list of 786 host species of 102 plant families. New host and locality data from Hungary are given. Aphis euphorhiae KALTENBACH, 1843 (collected from Euphorbia seguie-riana) and Takecallis taiwanus (TAKAHASHI, 1926) (from Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens) are recorded for the first time in Hungary.Keywords: Hungary, host plants, Hemiptera, Aphidoidea, Phylloxeroidea
