Abstract: Native in southern and eastern Asia and the South Pacific, but introduced into other parts of the world, Cybocephalus nipponicusEndrődy-Younga, 1971 (Coleoptera: Cybocephalidae) is reported from Hungary based on specimens collected in Budapest, Hungary, representing a new country record for the species. This is likely a recent introduction, the level of establishment is unknown. With 3 figures.
