Abstract: Eptacus cylindriclavatus sp. n. is described from Syria, compared with similar congeners, and main diagnostic characters are figured. The new species was discovered near the city of Palmyra. It is relatively easily recognizable by the shape of the antennal club and rostrum. With 16 figures.
