Abstract: A brief summary of the karst-morphological conditions and faunistical remains of all hitherto explored 14 vertebrate paleontological localities of Osztramos is given in detail. Conclusions which may be drawn on the origin of the karstic phenomena (fissures and caves) as well as on the sediment-petrographical composition of the filling deposits are discussed.
