Abstract: The vertebrate paleontological material of Hungária Hill, Dorog (Gerecse Mts., Transdanubia), collected in a cave in 1953 was re-examined. A morphological, biometrical and systematic analysis of the larger mammal remains showed the material to be not Late Pleistocene as formerly believed, but rather late Middle Pleistocene (Riss s.l.) in age.
