Abstract: The author made permanent microscopic preparations from the eggs and larvae of worms (Echinococcus granulosus, Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Taenia saginata, Diphyllobothrium latum) and fishes (Lucioperca lucioperca, Vimba vimba, Cyprinus carpio, Amiurus nebulosus). The objects were embedded, either in pre-fixed or in unfixed state, in immersion oil. In these preparations, the eggs and larvae remained undamaged, with no more alteration than the mucous stop having disappeared from the T. trichiura eggs, and the fish eggs having turned brownish.
