Abstract: Laboratory and field trials have been carried out with two insecticides: Rogor PB 20 WP (containing 20% dimethoat) and Muscatox 25 EC (25% dimethoat in oil emulsion). When applied in form of 2% spray Rogor PB 20 proved effective for 5-10 weeks in both laboratory and field trials. An unpleasant odour and brownish colorization on white wall surfaces after drying have been noted. Muscatox 25 EC was superior to Rogor PB 20 in both physical and insecticidal properties.
