Abstract: First zoological communication on a complex biosphere investigation termed “Síkfőkút Project” being conducted in Hungary as a part of the UNESCO programme “Man and Biosphere” (MAB). An analysis is given of the faunistical, ecological data and joint occurrences of 59 flea specimens representing 7 species collected from 55 individuals of 4 small mammal species. Future research tasks are also outlined.
