Abstract: The paper reports on the present veterinary hygienic status of cattle and pig cysticercosis as well as larval hydatidosis in Hungary. Emphasis is being placed on some recent experiences of hydatid disease control and principles of large scale field operations against echinococcosis. Reinforced control operations are in the stage of preparation in the country.
