Abstract: On the ground of zoogeographical considerations the authors put forward the wiev that K. sinensis of the carp was introduced to Hungary from the Trans-Carpathian area by natural route through the river Tisza. Morphological studies of the carp parasites C. fimbriceps and K. sinensis by histological methods resulted in certain modifications of the original descriptions of K. sinensis.
