Abstract: Parasitological investigations on burrows of small mammals have been conducted and results related to species of Tarsonemida are presented. Of the identified 27 species, Pediculaster similis sp. n. and Rackia acutifer gen. n., sp. n. were new to science and most the recorded species proved to be new to the fauna of Yugoslavia.
