Abstract: Roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, moufflons and wild-boars were found infected with Sarcosporidia in Hungary by the following respective rates: 88/99, 46/59, 39/42, 12/19 and 12/25. The screening was conducted by native examination of hearth, esophageal, tongue, laryngo-pharyngeal, diaphragmatic and sceletal muscular samples. In animals less than one year of age the respective rates of infection were: 8/17, 3/13, 0/3, 1/1 and 1/4.
