Abstract: Eight specimens of C. jejunum (Nicoll, 1907) were found in the small intestine of a dog, originating from Tápiószentmárton (County Pest, Hungary). This species has not yet been reported from Hungary. The systematical problems and the origin of the infection are discussed.
