Abstract: Dactylogyrus suchengtaii (Monogenea) infestation was found on the gill of Hypophthalmichtys mollitrix in a pond farm near the River Körös (Eastern Hungary). The author suggests that this species was introduced to Hungary by natural route, that is, by the River Tisza or Körös.
