Abstract: Faunistical survev of the Mallophaga from birds ringed in the Pusztaszer Reservation (Natron territory, 35 km from Szeged, East Hungary) is given. From six bird species 38 Mallophaga specimens were collected and found to belong to 8 species and 5 genera. One species (Lunaceps actophilus) proved to be new for the fauna of Hungary.
