Abstract: Problems in the research pertinent to the chemotherapy and chemo-prophylaxis of poultry intestinal coccidiosis are discussed. As for final conclusion, an expansion of the knowledge promted by the modern poultry production technology is claimed in the topics as follows: 1. Synergism between anticoccidials, 2. introduction of new chemotherapeutic compounds, 3. studies on the relationship between the anticoccidial effect of antibiotics and improved feed conversion.
