Abstract: The helmints of 9 rodent species were examined at 3 localities (Mt. Retezat, Mt. Rodnei and Mt. Gilau) and the occurrence of 9 tapeworm species (Catenotaenia cricetorum, C. pusilla, Anopiocephaloides dentata, Paranoplocephala sp., Hymenolepis diminuta, H. horrida, H. asymmetrica, Taenia tenuicollis larv., Hydatigera taeniaeformis larv.), and 14 nematode species (Heligmosomum costellatum, H. mixtum, Heligmosomoides polygyrus polygyrus, H. glareoli, Boreostrongylus minutus, Syphacia nigeriana, S. frederici, S. muris, S. stroma, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Gongylonema neoplasticum, Rictularia proni, Trichocephalus muris, Capillaria annulosa) are recorded.
