Abstract: For testing sensitization of the patients to mites other than Dermatophagoides, storage mites were cultured, and extracts were prepared from their cultures. Thin layer chromatography was used to compare their free amino-acid composition with that of the standard mite extracts. Our Acarus siro extracts showed well demonstrable common features with those of the standard one. The free amino-acid composition of the A. siro was very similar to that of the Tyrophagus putrescentiae extract as well.
