Abstract: Four species of Monogenea were found on the gills of Nile fishes in Egypt. Detailed redescription of Jainus nursei (Ergens, 1973) found on Alestes dentex and Quadriacanthus clariadis Paperna, 1961 from Clarias lazera are given. Data on the incidence and short descriptions of two Gyrodactylus spp. from the latter fish species are also given.
