Abstract: One 2.5 year old horse, naturally infected with Anoplocephalid tapeworms (species not identified) was orally dosed by praziquantel (Droncit tabl.) at 10 mg/kg body weight. Fecal egg output declined from day 2 and ceased by day 5 after treatment. First record on the cestocide activity of praziquantel in the horse.
