Title: Redescription of three dilepidid species from New Guinean Megapodius freycinet (Aves: Galliformes) erected by Sándor Kotlán, with the description of Kotlanolepis gen. n. (Cestoda)
Title: Három Kotlán Sándor által Új-Guineából, talegalla tyúkból (Megapodius freycinet, Aves: Galliformes) leírt dilepidida-faj revíziója és egy új genus: Kotlanolepis gen. n. leírása

Abstract: On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of academician Sándor Kotlán, the authors revised the type material of three dilepidid species: Dilepis yorkei Kotlán, 1923, D. leptophallus Kotlán, 1923 and D. horvathi Kotlán, 1923, collected by Lajos Bíró in Papua New Guinea in 1897-1899, from Megapodius brunneiventris Meyer, 1874 (synonym of M. freycinet affinis Gaim., 1823). The reinvestigation has shown that all three species are valid, only their generic relegation must be changed. Kotlanolepis yorkei (Kotlán, 1923) gen. n., comb. n., Megacirrus leptophallus (Kotlán, 1923) and M. horvathi (Kotlán, 1923) are redescribed and their taxonomy is briefly discussed. The new genus is differentiated from the genera Paradilepis Hsii, 1935, Megacirrus Beck, 1951, Himantaurus Spasskaja et Spassky, 1971 and Dilepidoides Spassky et Spasskaja, 1954. Contrary to Mathevossian (1963), M. horvathi is regarded a valid species. The position of M. leptophallus and M. horvathi in Megacirrus needs additional confirmation and could be proved only after a redescription of the type species of the genus - M. megapodii Beck, 1951.
