Abstract: In the parasitological meeting of HSP (Debrecen, 8 June, 1989) devoted to the twenty-fifth anniversary of its foundation, the commemorative medal of the Hungarian Society of Parasitologists has been awarded to Kálmán Molnár, head of the Fish Pathological Research Team, Veterinary Medical Research Institute, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, and to István Matskási, general director of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, both members of the editorial board of the Parasitologia Hungarica.
