Abstract: A long-term examination aimed at the recovery of amphistomes from Hungarian vertebrates has revealed eight species belonging to the families Diplodiscidae: Diplodiscus subclavatus (Goeze, 1782), Cladorchiidae: Opisthodiscus diplodiscoides Cohn, 1904 and Paramphistomidae: Paramphistomum cervi (Zeder, 1790); P. ichikawai Fukui, 1922; P. leydeni Näsmark, 1937; P. hibemiae Willmott, 1950; Calicophoron microbothrioides (Price et Mcintosh, 1944) and C. daubneyi (Dinnik, 1962).Keywords: Amphistomes, Diplodiscidae, Cladorchiidae, Paramphistomidae, Hungarian vertebrates
