Abstract: Five species of the family Centrorhynchidae are recorded from birds in Hungary: Centrorhynchus aluconis from Strix aluco and Asio otus; C. globocaudatus from Falco cherrug (new host record); Sphaerirostris picae from Pica pica, S. lancea from Burhinus oedicnemus; and S. turdi from Turdus pilaris. New geographical records for Hungary are those of C. globocaudatus, S. picae and S. turdi. The species are redescribed and figured on the basis of Hungarian specimens.
