Abstract: Authors investigated the bone remains of Batrachians sampled from owl pellets of the following species: Tyto alba, Strix aluco, Athene noctus, Asio otus and Bubo bubo. The owl pellets were collected in different parts of Hungary. It could be shown that the bone remains originated from the following Batrachian species of Hungary: Pelobates fuscus, Rana esculenta, R. ridibunda, R. dalmatina and R. temporaria. Analysing the bone remains authors obtained 41 new locality dates for the Batrachian-fauna of Hungary.
