Abstract: Discussing the intraspecific relations of the slow-worm (Anguis fragilis) specimens originating from different Hungarian and abroad localities author furnishes further locality dates to the geographical distributions of the two Europaen subspecies: fragilis and colchicus. Evaluating the known locality dates and the morphological features of the young specimens author makes comments upon the theories established hitherto concerning the phylogenetical relationship and distributional history of the above mentioned subspecies.
