Abstract: The allometric growth of the adrenals reveals a very similar pattern during the whole postembryonal development of the wild rabbit (Oryctolagus cunniculus Linnaeus, 1758) as well as of the domesticated forms. The total growth process can be divided into three phases each of them has its special growth-rate. One of the investigated inbred lines (Agouti Flemish Giant of reduced body size) is characterized by a different growth pattern: the first phase lasts till maximum body weight is reached.
