Abstract: Comparative osteological examination were carried out by the author on the species of Falco cherrug Gray and Falco peregrinus Tunstall. The skeletal parts of following species (one of each): Falco mexicanus Schlegel. Falco jugger Gray, Falco rusticolus Linnaeus, Falco biarmicus feldeggi Schlegel were studied. The aim of the author's investigation was to find distinguishing characters of skeletal elements between the two species: Falco cherrug Gray, and Falco peregrinus Tunstall that is well founded and is necessary for the determination of fossil and recent skeletal findings.
