Abstract: A short description of an aberrant-coloured semiadult male specimen from North-African hare (Lepus capensis sefranus Thomas, 1913) is given. The specimen was collected in Algeria between Al Bayadh and Aflov on the 24th July 1973. The fur is distinctly lighter than normal agouti: the normal length of the phaeomelanic band is nearly doubled and reddish coloured.
