Abstract: The cattles and horses depicted in the Franco-Cantabrian cave paintings (dated to the Solutréen period, 18-12,000 BC) reveal a number of traits characteristic only for domesticated mammals. According to the author's opinion all of these trait developed under the influence of disturbed panmictic reproduction of the wild form.Subject: zoology
