Abstract: A synopsis of 8 known species of Phaenacantha Horváth subgenus Anorygma Horváth, 1904 is given??? Colobathristes saccharida Karsch,1888 is designated as type species of Anorygma. All species are keyed, their status and diagnostic characters are discussed and illustrated, and the lectotypes of P. (A.) famelica Horváth, 1914 and P. (A.) solers Horváth, 1904 are designated. Male and female terminalia of P.(A.) pallida _tal are described and illustrated. Six species of Anorygma are Oriental, and the distribution of two extralimital species is discussed.
