Abstract: Coleophora longicornella Const. has two generation is on the wing in May and in the first half of June, the second generation in the second half of July. During its development the caterpillar frequently changes its mine, and makes cases several times. The old case is left attached at the entrance of the new mine, this case often falls off. The first caterpillar generations may be found in July, the second from the middle of August until the beginning of November.
