Abstract: First account of cestodes from rodents in Mongolia. Members of Hymenolepididae, Anoplocephalidae and Catenotaeniidae were found; species of Anoplocephalidae and Catenotaeniidae were studied in detail. Catenotaenia asiatica sp. n. (Catenotaeniidae) from Cricetulus barabensis is described. In connection with the description of this new species, the systematic and taxonomic status of Cestodes of the genus Catenotaenia Janicki, 1904, is disclosed in detail.Subject: zoology
