Abstract: The subgenera Amegilla Friese and Zonamegilla Popov of the Amegilla-complex, proposed by Popov (1950), are redefined. Descriptions are given of the salient male characters of four species collected in Korea, along with additional material of these from other sources. A. (Zonamegilla) parhypate sp. n. is described. The following synonymies are established: Anthophora tsushimensis Ckll., 1926 = A. (zonamegilla) korotonensis (Ckll., 1911); and Anthophora cingulata senahai (Yasumatsu, 1935 = A. (zonamegilla) dulcifera (Ckll., 1926).
