Abstract: A revision of the genus Sivacrypticus??? Kaszab, 1964 with its five Oriental, six African species is given together with the description of five new Indian and one new African species, all included in an identification key. New species are Sivacrypticus loebli sp. n. (South India, Ceylon), S. vietnamensis sp. n. (North Vietnam), S. dilliensis sp. n.(India: Panjab), S. communis sp. n. (South India), S. besucheti sp. n. (South India), and S. latipes sp. n. (Ghana, Sudan). The American species of Enneboeus Waterhouse, 1878 (uniformis Champion, 1892, marmoratus Champion, 1892, seriatus Champion, 1892, ruficolor Pic, 1925), further on the basis of personal communication by Tripkehorn the species belonging in the genera Uloporus Casey, 1890 (ovalis Casey, 1890) belong in the genus Archeocrypticus Kaszab, 1964. Further new combinations are two species of Indian Enneboeus (spinifer Champion, 1920 and malabaricus Champion, 1920) which belong in Sivacrypticus. The species spinifer is synonym of sericans (Fairmaire, 1896). The genus Eneboeus includes Papuan species consequently stand closer to the American Archeocrypticus than to Indo-Malayan Sivacrypticus.
