Abstract: In checking the Mongolian Idris species published by Dr. Szabó in 1973 Idris coxalis (Kieffer) sensu Szabó proved to represent I. psammon Szabó and I. flavicornis Förster; and I. aureonitens Szabó is in fact I. semiflavus (Kieffer). On the basis of the critical revision of the Idris material collected by Dr. Z. Kaszab in Mongolia three species are known from this country: Idris flavicornis Först., I. psammon Szabó and I. semiflavus (Kieffer).
