Abstract: Fourty-five Pygostenini species are reported from Africa, of which four species are described as new: Typloponemys schwabi sp. n., T. voltaicus sp. n., Pygostenus jeffersoni sp. n. and Doryloxenus ghanaensis sp. n. faunistical data of every species is given.
