Abstract: Description of a new genus (Surutoides gen. n.) and 5 new species (Augoderia boliviana sp. n., Surutoides mirabilis sp. n., Aphonidaes turbator sp. n., Philerus schereri sp. n. and Archophilerus zischkai sp. n.) is given. Chalepides eucephalus Casey is redescribed. Megasoma lenczyi Cartwright, 1976 (syn. n.) represents a junior synonym of M. cedrosum Hardy, 1972.
