Abstract: A new genus, Neoplateia, is described from Brazil; the genus Diastolinus characteristic of the Caribbean Basin, is subdivided in three subgenera, of which Nevisia and Goajiria new for science; finally a new subspecies of Austrocaribus venetuelensis araguae ssp. n. endemic of Venezuela is described.
