Abstract: Two millipede species (Megaphillum unilineatum C. L. Koch, 1838 and Kryophiolus occultus (C. L. Koch, 1847)) were collected by pitfall trapping in a dolomitic steppe meadow in 1988. Numbers of males, females and juveniles showed interesting changes, with respect to the characteristic seasonal activity of both species. Comments on the biology of these millipeds are given.
