A taxonomic revision was also carried out. Cytisus prolifer was synonymized with Chamaecytisus albus; Cytisus pannonicus with Chamaecytisus supinus ssp. aggregatus; Cytisus albus var. kisii and Cytisus propinquus with Chamaecytisus virescens. Keywords: flowering plants, herbarium, Jávorka, Borbás, Chamaecytisus, Corothamnus, Grisebach, Kitaibel, lectotype, Lembotropis, Rochel, Schenk, Schur, Simonkai, Wagner, Waisbecker, Waldstein, Wierzbicki
