Abstract: Discussion of the taxonomic position of the genus Chorebus HALIDAY, 1833. Nine new Chorebus species are described from Central Europe (seven from Hungary and two from Slovakia): Chorebus (Paragyrocampa) catron sp. n., Ch. (Stiphrocera) citreus sp. n., Ch.
