Abstract: Complete list of 59 publications with natural history interest written by the late JÓZSEF SZÕCS (1908–1987), technician and assistant curator of Lepidoptera in the Hungarian Natural History Museum is presented, with a thematic breakdown of the papers. The primary type specimens of the six taxa proposed by J. SZÕCS are fully documented. One species he unintentionally described and the material served for description is reported. With 12 figures.
