Title: Contribution to the mineralogy of the Pavlovka howardite

Pages: 41-45.
Abstract: Microprobe analyses have been provided from the Pavlovka howardite specimen of the
Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Most lithic clasts investigated show eucritic characteristics,
but one clast proved to be intermediate in mineralogy between end member diogenites
and eucrites. The majority of pyroxenes have homogeneous compositions, indicating that thermal
metamorphism was an important process in the early cooling stage of the parent body’s surface.
