Title: Lower Jurassic gastropod localities and their faunas from the Bakony Mts (Hungary)
Year: 2010
Volume: 28
Pages: 71-80.

Abstract: More than 700 gastropod specimens have been studied from 21 Lower Jurassic outcrops of the Bakony Mts (Hungary) during the former activity of the author; they belong to 86 species. Most of them (~80%) have already been documented in comprehensive systematic works. This paper aims to provide further, more detailed information about their localities and statigraphy then before. Most of the gastropods were found during bed-by-bed collecting in artificial, ammonites bearing exposures. Therefore the stratigraphical data are higly reliable, their details and the gastropod faunal lists by localities are published here. Several outcrops became unaccessible since the collecting and they remained poorly known (unpublished). Here the knowledge of these localities is completed from own observations.
