Abstract: This paper adds sixteen pleurotomarioidean species to the fauna from the type locality area of the Lower Jurassic Hierlatz Limestone Formation (Hallstatt, Austria). Majority of these species are unknown from former publications; only one species has already been recognised from the Bakony Mts (Hungary). Most of the species belong or are related to the genus Pleurotomariaor Laevitomariabut two new genera are also established besides eleven new species: Neorotomarian. gen., Granulizonan. gen., Pleurotomaria nodulocostulatan. sp., Pleurotomaria wiesberghausensisn. sp., Pleurotomaria nodulocinctan. sp., Pleurotomaria seminodosan. sp., Pleurotomaria indistinctan. sp., Pleurotomaria nongradatan. sp., Pleurotomaria? homoruspiran. sp., Pleurotomaria? laponya n. sp., Neorotomaria obertraunensis n. sp., Neorotomaria subgradata n. sp. and Granulizona mandlin. sp. With 145 figures.
