Abstract: A Middle Eocene (Lutetian–Early Bartonian) muricid assemblage with eight species
is described and illustrated from the Hungarian Paleogene Basin. Th ree species and one genus are
newly recorded in Hungary, and two new species are described: Paziella (Flexopteron) zsoldosi n. sp.
