Abstract: Data are given by authors about chewing lice (Mallophaga) from 9 rare bird species (11 specimens) which belonged to 3 orders and 5 families. 8 bird species (of 9 specimens) have been collected by the crew of Roumanian Fishing Boats from the Atlantic Ocean. Larus ichthyaëtus is the first specimen collected on the territory of Roumania. 191 specimens were determined from 17 chewing lice species (43 males, 118 females, 30 Larvae = L). One specimen could be determined only to genus.
